Professional Development Grants
AWC's mission is to meet the professional and educational needs of our members. One way we accomplish this is by offering professional development grants to our members. We are now accepting applications from members who are looking for funding for communications-related seminars, workshops, training, etc. Complete the grant application below and send it to Madonna Courtright, Professional Development Chair, at madonna@solutionsbyacme.com
We are now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 year. Members can receive up to $200 toward the cost of conferences, workshops, continuing education courses and more!
Each spring, our chapter is pleased to present two awards to aid and honor communications students:
The SAWC Student of the Year Award is given to a deserving student AWC member in April. Applications for 2010 are now being accepted.
The $250 AWC Student Scholarship is awarded to a student AWC member. The $250 scholarship is non-renewable and limited to tuition, books and fees. Applications are currently being accepted and should be submitted by March 13, 2010.
